Karachi (HRNW)- The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the postponement of selected intermediate examinations and practicals in observance of Muharram-ul-Haram, following directives issued by the competent controlling authority.
According to an official press release issued on June 23, 2026, the Accounting Paper-II for the Commerce Regular and Commerce Private groups, originally scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, has been postponed.
The postponed theory paper will now be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the same examination centres and according to the previously announced timings and schedule.
In addition, the Board has directed all affiliated colleges to postpone the Intermediate Annual Practical Examinations 2026 for the following groups:
- Science Pre-Medical
- Science Pre-Engineering
- Science General
- Arts Regular
The practical examinations scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, have been rescheduled to Saturday, July 11, 2026, while those scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, will now be conducted on Monday, July 13, 2026.
The Board has advised all students to follow the revised examination schedule and ensure their attendance on the newly announced dates.
