Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has stated that recent tensions and incidents in the Strait of Hormuz demonstrate that political crises cannot be resolved through military force. In a statement shared on social media, he emphasized that diplomacy remains the only viable path forward in the current situation, adding that some progress is reportedly being observed in Iran–United States discussions, with Pakistan’s mediation efforts playing an important role in facilitating dialogue.
Araqchi also warned the United States to be cautious of forces that may push it toward further regional conflict or prolonged instability, indirectly referring to broader regional dynamics. He further advised United Arab Emirates to remain vigilant amid escalating geopolitical tensions. According to him, continued engagement and restraint are essential to avoid further deterioration of the situation in the region, especially in strategically sensitive maritime zones.
