SEHWAN SHARIF (HRNW): On the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah,Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Mr Fayaz Hussain Abbasi conducted a detailed visit to ongoing development projects in Sehwan and Bhan Sayedabad on Tuesday. Accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro Mr Ghazanfar Ali Qadri and other relevant officers, the Commissioner reviewed the progress of various public welfare schemes and issued directives for their timely completion to ensure the provision of better facilities to the public.
During his visit to Sehwan, the Commissioner inspected the construction work on the dual carriageway from Jhaaz Chowk to the College and Dargah Budla Bahar. He instructed the concerned officials to accelerate the pace of work, emphasizing that no compromise on quality would be tolerated. as providing relief to the public is among the top priorities of the Sindh government, he stated clearly.
On this occasion, Mr. Abbasi also reviewed the encroachments hindering the road project. Deputy Commissioner Ghazanfar Ali Qadri briefed the Commissioner, informing him that encroachments obstructing the road’s construction are being removed on a priority basis to facilitate the smooth completion of the development work.
Subsequently, the Hyderabad Commissioner visited Bhan Sayedabad to review various development schemes in the town. He issued instructions to the relevant authorities regarding the removal of encroachments, improving the performance of the Town Committee Bhan Sayedabad, and further activating the library at the Government Higher Secondary School. He also directed for the expedited completion of the Girls College building and the establishment of a vegetable market in the town.
Furthermore, Mr. Abbasi gave directions to beautify and activate the office and park of the Town Committee Bhan Sayedabad. He also ordered the establishment of a public library in Bhan Sayedabad to provide academic and literary facilities to the residents.
The inspection tour was attended by Chief Engineer Buildings Sher Muhammad Mahisar, Chief Engineer Public Health Shafiq Ahmed Memon, Superintending Engineer hiway Abdul salam Memon, Executive Engineer Provincial Highways Ameer Ali Lashari, Executive Engineer Public Health Saddam Hussain Mari, Assistant Commissioner Sehwan Babar Ali Baloch, Executive Engineer Buildings Pervaiz Khawaja, Chairman Bhan Sayedabad Muhammad Siddique Memon, Mukhtiarkar Syed Abid Ali Shah, Staff Officer Mazhar Panhwar, and other officials from the Revenue, Public Health, Works & Services, Municipal, Town, Police, and Anti-Encroachment departments.
Earlier in the day, the Commissioner Hyderabad presided over a high-level meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s camp office in Sehwan with concerned officers. The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing projects and issued directives to further expedite work to ensure their timely completion.
Concluding his visit, Commissioner Fayaz Hussain Abbasi, along with Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, paid visit at the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar and offered prayers for the peace, progress, and prosperity of the country.
