US Spends $5.6 Billion on Weapons in First Two Days of Iran War, Reports Washington Post

Washington (HRNW)- According to The Washington Post, citing American officials, the Pentagon used around $5.6 billion worth of modern weapons and ammunition in just the first two days of the ongoing war with Iran. This massive deployment has raised concerns among some members of US Congress, who warn that the military is rapidly depleting its highly advanced and limited stock of arms.

The report also notes that US President Donald Trump has claimed the country possesses an unlimited stock of combat weapons, while CENTCOM confirms that 5,000 targets in Iran have been hit and 50 Iranian warplanes destroyed or damaged during the attacks.
