Trump Says Truth Behind Minab Girls’ School Airstrike May Never Be Fully Known

Washington (HRNW)- US President Donald Trump has admitted that the real culprit behind the airstrike on a girls’ school in the Iranian city of Minab may never be determined.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, President Trump said that he does not believe the full truth of the incident will ever come out. He added that missiles were flying everywhere at the time, making it difficult to determine who was actually responsible for the attack.

Trump also rejected claims that the strike was necessarily carried out using a US missile, saying there is no conclusive evidence proving direct US responsibility.

It is worth noting that on February 28, 2026, a missile strike hit the Shajar-e-Tayyaba Girls’ Elementary School in Minab, Iran, resulting in the deaths of more than 175 students and teachers. The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) launched an investigation into the incident. Initial internal findings suggested that outdated targeting information may have played a role, but no final conclusions have yet been officially announced.

US military officials maintain that civilian educational institutions are not deliberately targeted and note that the school was located near an area associated with Iran’s cruise missile infrastructure.
