Pezeshkian Says Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei Is in Good Health

New York (HRNW)- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is in good health and has recovered from injuries to his face and legs. Pezeshkian made the comments in an interview with Fox News in New York.

Pezeshkian said he had met with Mojtaba Khamenei twice recently, with one of the meetings lasting approximately seven hours. He said the Supreme Leader was not facing any significant health problems and was able to carry out his responsibilities.

The Iranian president also said that the injuries Khamenei had reportedly sustained to his face and legs had healed. These statements reflect Pezeshkian’s account and have not been independently verified through medical records or an independent medical assessment.

Pezeshkian’s comments come amid ongoing public speculation over Mojtaba Khamenei’s health and his limited public visibility. The Supreme Leader has remained largely out of the public eye, making the Iranian president’s account a significant statement regarding his condition.

The remarks were made during Pezeshkian’s visit to New York for the United Nations General Assembly, where he has also been involved in diplomatic discussions concerning Iran’s relations with the United States and other countries.
