Light Rain Expected in Lahore as Weather System Brings Dusty Winds Across Punjab

Lahore (HRNW)- Dusty winds and a rain-bearing weather system are affecting most districts of Punjab, including Lahore, with light rain expected in the provincial capital this evening.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, districts in the Gujranwala and Rawalpindi divisions are likely to receive more rainfall today compared to Lahore.

Meteorologists said that the current rain-bearing system is weakening and is expected to leave Pakistan by tonight. Following its departure, dry and hot weather conditions are likely to return across the region from tomorrow.

The Meteorological Department stated that the minimum temperature in Lahore is expected to remain around 28 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may rise to 39 degrees Celsius.

Citizens have been advised to remain cautious during periods of strong winds and possible rainfall, especially in areas where visibility may be affected by dust storms.
