Joy App Promotion Case: Court Extends Interim Bail for YouTubers Rajab Butt and Nadeem Nani Wala

LAHORE (HRNW): A Sessions Court in Lahore has presided over the hearing regarding the interim bail applications of prominent YouTubers Rajab Butt, Nadeem Nani Wala, and others in a case involving the illegal promotion of the “Joy” application. During the proceedings, Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Qureshi granted a one-day exemption from appearance to TikToker Nadeem Nani Wala.

The court has directed the investigation officer to present the complete records of all three accused at the next hearing. Additionally, the prosecutor has been summoned to provide the state’s stance on the matter. The court extended the interim bail for the accused until March 12, ensuring they remain protected from arrest until the next deliberation. The case was originally registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) following allegations of unauthorized promotional activities linked to the digital platform.
