Gilgit (HRNW)- The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has taken an important decision regarding the formation of the new government in Gilgit-Baltistan and has decided to nominate Amjad Advocate for the position of Chief Minister.
According to sources, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari personally contacted Amjad Advocate by telephone and issued detailed instructions regarding the government formation process and future governance strategy.
During the conversation, the two leaders discussed key issues facing the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, including constitutional rights, economic development, and public welfare initiatives.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari directed Amjad Advocate to place public interests at the center of the new government’s agenda and to ensure effective efforts for securing the constitutional, political, and economic rights of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Sources said that the decision is part of the PPP’s broader strategy to move forward with government formation following recent political developments in the region.
The party leadership believes that the nomination of Amjad Advocate will help strengthen political stability and advance development projects aimed at improving the lives of residents across Gilgit-Baltistan.
