Barrister Gohar Directs PTI Lawmakers to Support Budget, Announces High-Level Meeting After Session

Islamabad (HRNW)- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has directed the party’s members of the National Assembly, provincial assemblies, and Senate to support the budget, according to party sources.

According to reports, an important consultative meeting was held in Islamabad at the invitation of Barrister Gohar, attended by senior party leaders including Amir Dogar and Junaid Akbar.

The meeting strongly condemned the Bannu terrorist attack, offered prayers for the martyrs, and expressed concern over the sentences handed down to PTI leaders Ijaz Chaudhry, Mahmood-ul-Rashid, Omar Cheema, and Yasmin Rashid.

Participants also discussed various options regarding the immediate release of the party’s founding chairman. It was decided that a high-level meeting would be convened in Islamabad immediately after the conclusion of the budget session.

According to PTI sources, Opposition Leaders Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas are expected to participate in the proposed meeting.

Sources further stated that a comprehensive strategy and future course of action regarding the release of the founding chairman will be finalized during the Islamabad meeting.

Barrister Gohar emphasized that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and the provincial government are a trust of the founding chairman and directed party lawmakers to remain united and play their role during the budget process.
