Lahore: Major Forgery Network Busted, Four Arrested Including Father-Sons Duo

Lahore (HRNW): Police have uncovered a large-scale forgery network during an intelligence-based operation, arresting four suspects including a father and his sons.

According to the DIG Operations spokesperson, the gang was involved in producing fake Pakistani and foreign currency, national identity cards, educational certificates, and other official documents.

During the raid, police recovered a significant quantity of counterfeit local and foreign currency, printing machines, computers, and chemicals used in currency production.

Investigators revealed that the alleged ringleader, Riaz, had received training abroad in color-matching technology used for counterfeiting.

The arrested suspects include Riaz, Sajan Riaz, Imran, and Asif. A case has been registered at Shahdara Town Police Station, and further investigations are underway.
