Abu Dhabi (HRNW)- The UAE Foreign Ministry has responded to the recent US-Iran ceasefire, stating that further clarifications will be sought to ensure peace and stability in the region.
According to the ministry, these clarifications are aimed at preventing Iranian attacks and stopping any potential actions against Gulf countries. Officials stressed that the ceasefire will only be effective if Iran clearly defines its policies and actions.
The statement emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz must be opened unconditionally to ensure that global trade and oil shipments are not disrupted, as its closure could have severe consequences for the global economy. Emirati officials also called for a tough stance against Iran regarding past attacks and full compensation for losses caused.
