Kuwait City (HRNW): Kuwait has revoked the citizenship of 2,192 individuals, according to local media reports.
The decision was published in the official gazette, confirming the latest wave of citizenship cancellations.
Reports say the action is part of an ongoing “citizenship review campaign” in Kuwait, which has reportedly affected thousands of people over the past two years.
Media sources also noted that in 2025, citizenships of a large number of individuals were previously revoked as part of the same campaign, which continues to expand.
