Karachi (HRNW) – A hearing of the Gul Plaza incident case was held before the Judicial Magistrate South court, where the investigation officer appeared and requested additional time to complete the ongoing investigation.
During the hearing, the investigation officer informed the court that responses from six institutions had been received, while replies from two institutions were still awaited.
The officer stated that responses from the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) and the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation are pending, after which the investigation process will be completed.
The court accepted the request of the investigation officer and granted time until August 9 to finalize the investigation.
The court directed that the investigation be completed and a progress report be submitted before the next hearing.
