Karachi: Malir City Police Raid Drug Den in Ansoo Goth; 11 Narcotics Peddlers Arrested, Ice and Heroin Seized

KARACHI (HRNW) – Following the directives of SSP Malir Dr. Abdul Khaliq, the Malir City Police conducted a major intelligence-based operation, raiding a notorious drug den and arresting 11 suspects.

According to the Malir Police spokesperson, SDPO Malir City Abid Fazal led the police team during the targeted raid in the Ansoo Goth area. The timely operation resulted in the apprehension of 11 narcotics peddlers. The arrested individuals have been identified as Muhammad Farooq, Ali Haider, Zeeshan, Muhammad Aslam, Faryad, Shahryar, Mueez, Jahanzeb, Pervez, Zahid Shah, and Anwar.

Police authorities recovered a significant quantity of illicit substances, including crystal meth (Ice), heroin, crystal, and cash from the possession of the suspects. The seized narcotics have been taken into official custody, and legal proceedings against the suspects have commenced. Initial investigations reveal that the arrested individuals were actively involved in supplying drugs across various neighborhoods.

The Malir Police emphasized that strict actions, surprise raids, and targeted operations will continue unabated across the district to eradicate the menace of narcotics and protect the youth from drug addiction.
