KARACHI (HRNW) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Deputy Information Secretary East and RCC Bilawal House Member, Shahnila Khanzada, has stated that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has presented a historic and revolutionary gift to the people of Karachi by inaugurating the mega “Shahrah-e-Bhutto” project. She emphasized that Shahrah-e-Bhutto is not just a road, but a new chapter in Karachi’s economic, commercial, and urban development, which will significantly alleviate long-standing traffic issues and provide modern commuting facilities to citizens.
She noted that while Karachi had been neglected in the past, the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party has prioritized the city’s construction and development. Despite limited resources, the Sindh government has launched development projects worth billions of rupees in Karachi, including Shahrah-e-Bhutto, University Road, Malir Expressway, flyovers, underpasses, improvements to the sewerage system, water supply, restoration of parks, and the installation of streetlights.
Shahnila Khanzada further highlighted that Mayor Murtaza Wahab is playing an active role in providing municipal facilities across every district and Union Committee of Karachi. Round-the-clock work is underway for cleanliness, road repairs, clearing of storm drains, and resolving civic issues to truly restore Karachi as the City of Lights.
She added that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision is to build a prosperous and developed Pakistan by delivering the public from inflation, unemployment, and basic issues. The PPP is taking practical steps to provide employment to youth, empower women, and ensure better education and healthcare facilities.
She concluded by saying that while opponents remain busy in blame-game and negative politics, the PPP is winning the hearts of the public through practical service. The ongoing development projects in Karachi are clear proof that the Sindh government is taking serious measures to transform the city into a world-class, modern metropolitan center.
