KARACHI (HRNW) – Illegal and unapproved construction of a fourth floor is rapidly underway at Plot No. 71, Block 1K, Nazimabad Block 1, in open violation of the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) regulations.
According to reliable sources, the builders are allegedly tampering with official records, misrepresenting the property as “Plot No. 41” in their paperwork to evade SBCA scrutiny, demolition orders, and legal consequences. The building in question has previously received official notices from the SBCA targeting unauthorized constructions, including violations on the ground floor. Despite these warnings, the builder mafia has brazenly resumed the construction of the third and fourth floors.
Per the explicit directives of the Director-General of the SBCA, strict action—including the registration of First Information Reports (FIRs) and immediate demolition—must be taken against builders, owners, and facilitating officials involved in such illicit activities.
Concerned citizens and stakeholders have urged the SSP Central, DC Central, AC Liaquatabad, ASP, and top SBCA officials to intervene immediately. They have demanded an official verification of the actual plot number, the registration of criminal cases against those involved in forging paperwork, and the immediate demolition of this hazardous, unauthorized structure to prevent any future catastrophic incidents.
