KARACHI (HRNW) – Under the supervision of SSP Mahzoor Ali, the District South Police have launched an effective crackdown against elements involved in illegal dance parties, hookah/shisha lounges, and immoral activities.
According to the spokesperson for the District South Police, acting on intelligence reports, the Boat Basin and Sahil police stations conducted synchronized raids on two different locations hosting illegal dance parties. The operations were carried out in the upscale neighborhoods of Sahil Avenue and Clifton Block 5.
During these successful raids, police apprehended a total of six suspects, including one woman. Three of the suspects were detained within the jurisdiction of the Boat Basin police station, while the remaining three were arrested by the Sahil police. Authorities also confiscated six hookahs/shishas along with various flavored tobaccos from the venues.
Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals at the Sahil and Boat Basin police stations, and further investigation has been initiated.
