Major FIA Immigration Operation: Fake Protector Stamps Uncovered; Two Passengers Bound for Uzbekistan Offloaded

Karachi (HRNW): FIA Immigration at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, has successfully intercepted and offloaded two passengers bound for Uzbekistan after identifying forged protector stamps on their passports, an FIA spokesperson confirmed.

Identification and Background

The passengers have been identified as Mehtab Jan (resident of Kech) and Muhammad Hussain Ali (resident of Rahim Yar Khan). Both individuals were attempting to travel to Uzbekistan on business/work visas.

During the primary inspection, immigration officials discovered a prior record indicating that both passengers had previously been offloaded on April 13, 2026, due to the absence of the mandatory protector endorsement.

Discovery of Forgery

Upon closer scrutiny during the latest attempt, immigration officers flagged the protector stamps stamped on page number 35 of both passports as highly suspicious. A thorough verification against the official state database confirmed that the stamps were completely counterfeit and held no official record.

Involvement of Human Trafficking Agent

During preliminary interrogation, the offloaded passengers confessed that an agent named Amir, based in Lahore, had arranged their visas and forged the illegal protector endorsements through unlawful channels.

Legal Action

Following the interception, both passengers were formally offloaded and handed over to the relevant authorities for deeper interrogation and strict legal proceedings.
