Karachi (HRNW): Tightening the noose around street criminals in the metropolitan city, the District South Police Karachi has successfully apprehended a suspect during an active robbery. The Boat Basin Police, exhibiting high alertness during routine patrolling, captured the criminal along with an illegal firearm and the plundered belongings of a citizen.
According to the details released by the spokesperson for District South Police on June 11, 2026, a police squad was actively patrolling the sector when they intercepted a mugging in progress. A suspect was fleeing after depriving a citizen of his valuables at gunpoint. Responding swiftly, the police intercepted and apprehended the fleeing criminal.
Profile of the Suspect and Seized Items
The arrested criminal has been identified as Abdul Rehman, son of Amanullah. During the body search and immediate tactical recovery, the police seized:

1 illegal 30-bore caliber pistol along with a magazine and 3 live rounds.

1 snatched Vigo mobile phone.

The victim’s snatched wallet containing cash.
