Iranian Media Claims Positive Progress in Ongoing Peace Talks With US

Doha (HRNW)- Iranian media have claimed that significant progress has been made in the ongoing peace talks in Qatar and that the overall negotiations are moving in a positive direction.

According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, an informed source stated that discussions between Iranian negotiators in Doha were generally constructive and helped advance the broader negotiation process.

Sources said that Iran is proceeding cautiously in the talks because Tehran still considers the United States an unreliable party.

The report added that Iranian officials are carefully reviewing every aspect of any possible agreement and adopting a highly cautious approach before making commitments.

The negotiations are taking place at a time when tensions between Iran, the United States and Israel continue across the region, while key issues including the Strait of Hormuz, ceasefire arrangements, economic sanctions and Iran’s nuclear program remain under discussion.

According to diplomatic sources, the primary objective of the Qatar talks is to reduce regional tensions and pave the way for a possible peace agreement.
