Karachi (HRNW): The Special Judge of the Anti-Corruption Court, Ameenullah Siddiqui, heard the case involving alleged embezzlement of over Rs 800 million in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) funds and awarding contracts to preferred contractors at inflated rates.
The court has issued arrest warrants for several former KMC officials, including ex-DG Technical Services Shabihul Hassanain, former Director Parks and DMC East ADP Member Tauqeer Abbas, former Director Finance, Planning & Development Accounts KMC Central Nazish Raza, Superintendent Engineer Samad Jilbani, and others.
