KARACHI (HRNW) – Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), acting on intelligence tip-offs, conducted a successful operation and arrested three members of a robbery gang heavily involved in numerous incidents of dacoity and street crime near Sumaira Chowk in the Scheme 33 area of Karachi. The arrested suspects have been identified as Abdullah, son of Ismatullah; Nadeem Ahmed, son of Rashid Ahmed; and Junaid, son of Ibrahim.
According to a Rangers spokesperson, law enforcement personnel recovered an unlicensed .30-bore pistol along with a magazine and cash from the possession of the arrested individuals.
Details reveal that the suspects have been actively operating in several localities of Karachi, including Jamali Bridge, Sumaira Chowk, Sir Syed Chowk, and surrounding areas. They are allegedly involved in multiple incidents of robbery, street crime, motorcycle theft, and snatching mobile phones and cash from citizens at gunpoint. During initial questioning, it was disclosed that the suspects routinely rented weapons specifically to carry out these robberies and street crimes.
The arrested suspects, along with the recovered illegal weapon and cash, have been handed over to the local police for further legal proceedings and detailed investigation.
The paramilitary force has appealed to the public to play their role in eliminating crime from society by immediately reporting any suspicious or criminal elements.
