Drone Attack on Sudan Market Kills Six, Including Children

Al-Rahad, North Kordofan (HRNW)- At least six people, including children, have been killed and more than 26 others injured in a drone attack on a market in the town of Al-Rahad in Sudan’s North Kordofan state, according to media reports.

According to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the victims include two children and four adults, while several children are also among the injured. UNICEF said children continue to bear the brunt of the violence in Sudan’s ongoing conflict.

Millions of people have been displaced since fighting erupted in April 2023 between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Drone attacks have increased significantly in recent months, posing serious risks to civilians.
