Karachi: Two Suspects Arrested for Armed Mobile Phone and Cash Snatching, Stolen Vehicle Recovered

Karachi (HRNW) – The District East Police Karachi has claimed the arrest of two suspects allegedly involved in snatching valuable mobile phones and cash from citizens at gunpoint.

According to police, a joint operation was carried out by Ferozabad Police Station and the Shaheen Force Jamshed Division on the basis of technical intelligence, resulting in the arrest of two suspects identified as Muhammad Kashif and Muhammad Zameer Ahmed.

Police stated that CCTV footage of one of the incidents also shows armed suspects allegedly carrying out the robbery.

According to the East Police spokesperson, the arrested suspects were found in possession of two pistols, ammunition, four stolen mobile phones, and a vehicle allegedly used during criminal activities.

Police further stated that the recovered Suzuki Alto vehicle had reportedly been stolen from the jurisdiction of New Town Police Station, where a theft case had already been registered. The vehicle has been taken into police custody.

Cases have been registered against the suspects under relevant laws, while further investigation is underway to identify possible accomplices and determine their involvement in other criminal activities.
