KARACHI (HRNW) – The domestic bullion market witnessed a notable decline in gold prices today, as both per tola and 10-gram rates experienced a downward trend.
According to market dealers, the price of per tola gold decreased by Rs 1,469, settling at Rs 467,816. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold registered a drop of Rs 1,323 to close at Rs 401,012.
The decrease comes a day after the precious metal recorded a substantial gain; on Thursday, the price of per tola gold had surged by Rs 1,523 to reach Rs 469,285. Today’s correction has largely offset the gains made during the previous trading session.
In tandem with the gold market, silver prices also registered a decline. The price of per tola silver dropped by Rs 67, bringing its market value down to Rs 7,730.
