KARACHI (HRNW) – The SHO of Korangi Industrial Area, Hukmidad, conducted a successful intelligence-based operation and arrested an Afghan national, Javed alias Afghani, who had been absconding in Pakistan for the past several years.
According to sources, the arrested suspect, Javed alias Afghani, was involved in various illegal activities, including drug peddling and trafficking, within the jurisdiction of the Korangi Industrial Area police station. The suspect had been evading law enforcement agencies for a long period while continuing his illicit business operations.
Following confidential tip-offs, a special strategy was formulated under the supervision of SHO Hukmidad, resulting in a successful raid and the subsequent arrest of the suspect. Sources stated that further investigation against the suspect is underway to gather information regarding his accomplices and the wider network.
Local residents highly appreciated the police performance for taking effective action against drug-selling elements and expressed hope that this crackdown against criminal and illegal activities in the Korangi Industrial Area will continue unabated.
