Two Police Officers Dismissed Over Connections with Anmol alias Pinky

KARACHI (HRNW) – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has dismissed two police officers from service for maintaining contacts with a female suspect, Anmol alias Pinky. According to CTD sources, the dismissed personnel include a constable and an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).

Sources revealed that the officers were accused of being in contact with Pinky since last year. The investigation indicated that the personnel increased their communication with the female suspect following the arrest of a rider. Both officers were removed from their positions after the formal inquiry report was finalized.

It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the CTD detained the officers, identified as Ali Qureshi and Kafeel, to record their detailed statements. During the disciplinary proceedings, forensic analyses of their mobile phones were conducted, and their bank account details were scrutinized, leading to their official termination.
