‘Thomas’ Online Earning App Allegedly Vanishes After Defrauding Citizens Across Punjab

Lahore (HRNW) – Millions of citizens across Punjab have reportedly fallen victim to an alleged cyber fraud scheme after an online earning application called “Thomas” suddenly disappeared, leaving users unable to recover their investments.

According to affected citizens, the application attracted users by promising easy online earnings and encouraging them to invest money. However, after operating for a period of time, the app allegedly shut down without notice, causing significant financial losses to its users.

Sources say the most affected areas include Multan, Khanewal, Mian Channu, Sahiwal, Gujranwala, Okara, Sialkot, Gujrat, Farooqabad, Sheikhupura, Sargodha, and Faisalabad, where a large number of people reportedly became victims of the scheme.

The affected individuals have urged relevant authorities and law enforcement agencies to take immediate action, identify and arrest those responsible, and make efforts to recover the money allegedly lost by citizens.

Authorities and cybersecurity experts continue to warn the public against investing in unverified online earning platforms that promise unusually high or guaranteed returns.

Public Advisory:
Citizens are strongly advised not to trust unknown online earning applications or investment schemes without proper verification. Thorough research and caution should be exercised before investing money in any digital platform.
