Joint Rangers and SIU Operation in Nazimabad and Golimar; One Extortionist Killed, Two Arrested

Karachi (HRNW): Pakistan Rangers Sindh and the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the police conducted a high-stakes joint operation against extortionists in the Nazimabad and Golimar areas of Karachi. One suspect was killed during an intense exchange of fire, while two others, including one injured, were successfully taken into custody.

Intense Shootout and Reinforcements

According to the spokesperson for Sindh Rangers, a heavy exchange of gunfire erupted between the law enforcement agencies and the criminals during the raid. As the situation escalated, additional contingents of security forces were urgently summoned to the scene to maintain tactical control and cordoned off the area.

The spokesperson confirmed that the Rangers and SIU police personnel worked in close coordination to engage and neutralize the armed suspects.

Current Status

Following the conclusion of the armed encounter, authorities shifted the body of the deceased and the injured suspect to the hospital under tight security. The process of verifying the identification and criminal records of both the killed and detained suspects is currently underway.
