Islamabad (HRNW) – The phased return of Pakistani pilgrims following the completion of Hajj is continuing successfully, with thousands of pilgrims already arriving back home.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 12,157 pilgrims have returned from Makkah during the last three days, while 832 pilgrims have reached Madinah as part of the post-Hajj arrangements.
The spokesperson stated that more than 100,000 official Pakistani pilgrims are still in Saudi Arabia, and their return to Pakistan is being carried out in phases. Following the completion of Hajj rituals, over 71,000 official pilgrims are scheduled to be transferred to Madinah before returning home.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, post-Hajj flight operations will continue without interruption until June 30 to ensure the safe, smooth, and timely return of all pilgrims to Pakistan.
Authorities have said that comprehensive arrangements are in place to facilitate the return process and provide necessary assistance to pilgrims throughout their journey.
