Provincial Information Minister Uzma Bukhari said that the US Congress has praised Maryam Nawaz for modernizing brick kilns and the US Congress Pakistan Caucus has written a letter to the Punjab Chief Minister.
She said that the US Congress has written that the Punjab government has taken bold steps to modernize the kiln industry and values the steps taken to protect the environment and eliminate forced labor.
She said that Maryam Nawaz’s model of modernizing brick kilns has become an example in the region.
