Lahore (HRNW)– The Punjab government has announced a significant increase in marriage and death grants for workers’ families. Labor Minister Manshaullah Butt stated that the marriage grant for workers’ children has been raised from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 6 lakh, while the death grant has increased from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.

The minister added that workers in Punjab are also receiving a monthly subsidy of Rs 3,000 through Maryam Nawaz ration cards, and new labor colonies are being developed along with initiatives to improve the educational environment for workers’ children. These measures aim to provide better opportunities and prosperity for the labor community under the guidance of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
