Pakpattan (HRNW)- Under the orders of the Chief Minister of Punjab, a special meeting was held under the chairmanship of DPO Pakpattan Javed Chadhar regarding positive change in police attitudes, in which a large number of circle officers, SHOs and police personnel participated.
During the meeting, DPO Javed Chadhar addressed the police personnel and gave instructions to implement the vision of empathy, acceptance, decency and protection with the citizens. The DPO said that the protection of life and property of citizens is the top priority through people-friendly policing and all police stations will work as centers of protection, justice and public service.
He said that timely FIR of cognizable crimes will be mandatory, there will be a zero tolerance policy against corruption and malfeasance, and the supervisory officers will be responsible for it. The investigation will be conducted on scientific grounds and strict action will be taken against any kind of negligence.
The DPO further said that prevention of crimes against women and children is the top priority of Pakpattan Police, and public trust and acceptance will be restored through community policing. He also directed to take indiscriminate action against traffic violations.
