Taxila (HRNW) — A TikToker, Shamo Bibi alias Ayesha, was allegedly shot dead by motorcycle riders while travelling in a car within the jurisdiction of Taxila Police Station. Her younger sister, Asiya, was seriously injured in the incident, while the car crashed into a dumper after the alleged firing.
According to the FIR, the incident occurred on August 14 at around 4:40 p.m. in front of the Attock petrol pump.
The complainant told police that Shamo Bibi was travelling in a black Honda car with her approximately 15–16-year-old sister Asiya and brother Naimatullah. According to the FIR, two motorcycle riders approached the vehicle near the petrol pump, and the passenger allegedly opened direct fire at Shamo Bibi.
The FIR states that one bullet struck Shamo Bibi in the neck, after which the car went out of control and collided with a dumper. Shamo Bibi died from the alleged gunshot wound, while her sister Asiya sustained serious injuries and was shifted to Islamabad for treatment.
According to the complainant, Shamo Bibi had been making TikTok videos for the past three to four years. The FIR further alleges that she had financial dealings with individuals identified as Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen and had reportedly told the complainant about alleged threats to her life.
The complainant expressed suspicion that Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen may have allegedly arranged the killing, either themselves or through two unidentified individuals, over a financial dispute. The FIR also alleges the involvement of Kashif alias Kashi.
Police said the victim’s body was shifted to THQ Hospital Taxila for medico-legal formalities and post-mortem examination.
Police registered a case under Sections 302, 324, 109 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code and launched an investigation.
The victim’s brother, Naimatullah, reportedly told police that he could identify the alleged suspects if they were brought before him.
