Tragic Attack on FC Fort and Ambulance in Karak: Three Personnel Martyred

KARAK (HRNW) –  A coordinated and brutal terrorist attack in the Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has resulted in the martyrdom of three Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel and left several others wounded.

The violence began when a quadcopter was used to target an FC fort in the Darga Shaheedan area, initially injuring five personnel. In a secondary, more heinous act, armed militants ambushed the ambulance transporting the wounded victims to the hospital near Bahadur Khel.

According to the District Police Officer (DPO) Karak, the militants opened fire on the rescue vehicle, leading to the following casualties:

  • Three FC personnel succumbed to their injuries and embraced martyrdom.

  • Two rescue workers and several other FC personnel sustained injuries during the firing.

Police and security forces have cordoned off the area and placed the district on high alert. An investigation into the use of drone technology (quadcopters) and the subsequent ambush has been launched to track down the perpetrators.
