KARACHI (HRNW) – Sindh Police have successfully solved a sensational burglary case worth over Rs 300 million, arresting the suspects involved and recovering millions in stolen cash.
According to the details, Inspector General of Sindh Police, Javed Alam Odho, met with DIG West, SSP West, and the West Police team at the Central Police Office, Karachi, where he commended the officers for their swift action and outstanding performance in cracking a high-profile case in a short time.
During the briefing, DIG West revealed that the suspects executed the burglary in a “film-style” manner with detailed planning. SSP West added that the culprits had specifically targeted funds kept in trust by citizens.
IG Sindh praised the team’s effective investigation, use of modern techniques, and coordinated efforts, stating that the timely arrests and recovery of stolen property have further strengthened public confidence in the police.
He directed officers to intensify intelligence-based operations and snap checking to curb street crimes and burglaries. The IG emphasized that maintaining peace and order across the city requires effective supervision and the promotion of community policing in all zones.
On this occasion, IG Sindh distributed commendation certificates and cash rewards among outstanding police officers and personnel. The business community, public, and media widely appreciated the Sindh Police for this successful operation.
