Karachi: Under the supervision of the SSP Investigation Malir, the East Zone Investigation Wing (Malir) recovered two abducted or missing women and arrested a fugitive suspect during various operations.
According to the police, the investigation team from Memon Goth Police Station recovered Huria Habib (daughter of Habibullah)—who had been abducted or reported missing—while acting on Case FIR No. 393/2026, registered under Section 365-B of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Separately, the investigation team from Shah Latif Town Police Station recovered Rubina (wife of Alamgir Khan)—also abducted or missing—while acting on Case FIR No. 1289/2024, registered under Sections 34 and 496-A of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Meanwhile, the investigation team from Steel Town Police Station arrested a fugitive suspect, Adnan Ghafoor (son of Abdul Ghaffar), who was wanted in connection with Case FIR No. 299/2021, registered under Sections 420, 408, and 506 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Police stated that the recovered women would be presented before the competent court, while further interrogation of the arrested suspect is underway.
