Lahore, Pakistan (HRNW) The President of the Lahore Bar Association, Irfan Hayat Bajwa, stated that demands have previously been made for Imran Khan to be provided with full jail facilities in accordance with prison rules and manuals, and that concerns raised by his family and supporters regarding his health should be addressed.
He emphasized that Imran Khan should be immediately transferred to Shifa International Hospital to ensure his health concerns are properly addressed. He added that the cases against Imran Khan are politically motivated, and he was detained solely under one order and a single judicial sentence.
Irfan Hayat Bajwa also stressed that depriving any prisoner of medical care is unacceptable, and immediate steps must be taken in this matter.
