Countdown Begins for Removal of Illegal Farmhouses in Gadap City

Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW) Final preparations have been completed for a decisive operation against alleged fake and illegal farmhouses and cattle farms in Gadap City, Gulshan-e-Mimar, the livestock market area, and around the Northern Bypass.

The Deputy Commissioner Malir, in notices issued for February 24, 25, and 26, clearly stated that owners who do not possess complete revenue records (Form II, Form VII), approved layout plans (MDA / Sindh Building Control Authority), and valid title documents will have their constructions demolished without any exemption.

A joint operation will be carried out by the Encroachment Police and Revenue Team, with heavy machinery deployed for immediate demolition. The authorities emphasized that all government land will be reclaimed under any circumstances.

Sources indicated that certain private groups and marketing agents are allegedly involved in selling illegal farmhouses. Citizens have been strictly warned that investing in any property without full legal verification may prove harmful, and the responsibility will lie with the buyers themselves.

The administration stated firmly that no one is above the law, and the inevitable outcome of illegal constructions is demolition.
