Dadu (HRNW)- Dadu witnessed a tragic breakdown of law and order when armed robbers opened fire on a police team that had arrived following reports of looting. During the exchange of fire, three police personnel were martyred, while one officer, including the check-post in-charge, sustained injuries.
According to DIG Hyderabad Tariq Razaq Dharejo, one injured dacoit was taken away by his accomplices and managed to escape. He confirmed that the suspects have been identified, and a district-wide operation will continue until their arrest.
The incident has once again raised serious questions about security arrangements and the writ of the state, particularly in a region that falls within the home district of the Chief Minister of Sindh, highlighting growing concerns over public safety and the protection of law enforcement personnel.
