Lahore (HRNW)- After a long period of 25 years, the Basant festival is being celebrated, which was formally inaugurated by Provincial Information Minister Uzma Bukhari at 12 midnight by flying a kite. However, in the tragic incidents that took place during this time, an 18-year-old Zain died after falling from a roof while flying a kite in Madina Colony Baghbanpura. In another incident, three members of the same family (father, uncle and nephew) were injured after getting electrocuted while flying a kite in Sabzazar area and were immediately shifted to the hospital.
