Gujranwala: CPO Gujranwala Dr. Sardar Ghias Gul Khan took strict notice of the alleged assault on a pregnant woman and ordered immediate action.
According to the police, the husband, Tayyab Mannan, who allegedly assaulted his pregnant wife, was arrested within a few hours.
A police spokesperson stated that the husband allegedly assaulted his wife after learning the gender of the unborn child from an ultrasound report.
Police say further investigation into the incident is underway.
