Global Market: Crude oil prices in the global market have risen again following the rejection of a ceasefire proposal.
According to foreign media reports, the price of Brent crude oil increased by $1.82 (or 1.74%) on Monday, reaching $106.14 per barrel.
The price of US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil also rose by $1.14 (or 1.23%), settling at $93.55 per barrel.
According to the Wall Street Journal, US President Donald Trump has rejected a seven-day ceasefire proposal put forward by Iran. Iran had also proposed reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
