Myanmar: Thirty-three people were killed and 36 injured in an alleged military airstrike near a market in the conflict-ridden Rakhine State.
According to foreign media, rebels claim the airstrike took place near the market, resulting in the casualties.
Media reports indicate that a local aid worker operating in the area has also confirmed the number of dead and injured.
Meanwhile, the military-backed government has arrested 21 individuals on charges of transferring funds to an online fundraising platform.
