Karachi (HRNW)- Malir City Police have registered a murder case after the dismembered body of an unidentified man was found in three sacks in bushes near Bawan Shah Mazar.
According to police officials, the deceased is believed to be around 27 to 28 years old, but his identity has not yet been established. Police registered FIR No. 638 of 2026 on the complaint of Sub-Inspector Sadaqat Ali.
According to the FIR, the body was discovered in bushes along Bawan Shah Road near Mai Satti Mazar Road, within the jurisdiction of Malir City Police Station. Police officers reached the scene after receiving information, while an ambulance and crime scene unit were also called to the location.
The crime scene unit examined the sacks and recovered the remains of the deceased. The body was subsequently shifted to Jinnah Hospital after completion of legal procedures, where a postmortem examination was conducted.
Police said the circumstances surrounding the killing and the motive remain unknown. Investigators are working to establish the identity of the deceased and determine the circumstances and location of the murder.
Further investigation is underway following registration of the case.
