Gold Prices Surge as International Rate Rises by $42 Per Ounce

Karachi (HRNW)- Gold prices continued their upward trend in both international and local markets, with the precious metal recording a significant increase on Wednesday.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold rose by $42 per ounce, taking the new global price to $4,415 per ounce.

Following the international increase, the price of gold in local bullion markets also climbed by Rs4,200 per tola, reaching Rs463,936 per tola on the third trading day of the business week.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,601, reaching Rs397,750.

Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded an increase in the local market. The price of silver per tola rose by Rs146 to Rs7,111, while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs125 to Rs6,096.
