Ishaq Dar, Iranian Ambassador Discuss Regional Situation and Progress in Bilateral Talks

Islamabad (HRNW)- Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moqadam held an important meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, during which the regional situation and progress in Pakistan-Iran cooperation were discussed.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Ambassador Reza Amiri Moqadam called on Ishaq Dar and briefed him on progress under bilateral institutional mechanisms established to strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and Iran following recent high-level visits between the two countries.

During the meeting, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations with Iran, particularly in key priority areas.

The two sides also discussed the evolving regional situation and ongoing diplomatic developments.

Ishaq Dar emphasized that negotiations and diplomacy remain the most effective means of resolving outstanding issues and achieving lasting peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
