Hundreds of Hajj Pilgrims Stranded at Lahore Airport After Saudi Airlines Plane Develops Technical Fault

Lahore (HRNW)- Hundreds of Hajj pilgrims faced severe inconvenience at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore after a Saudi Airlines aircraft developed a technical fault before departure.

According to details, Saudi Airlines flight SV-5735 was scheduled to depart from Lahore to Medina at 10:30 am. However, the flight was delayed after a malfunction was reported in the aircraft’s engine.

Hundreds of passengers, including Hajj pilgrims, remained stranded at Lahore Airport while waiting for further updates regarding the flight.

According to the airline management, the delay occurred due to a technical issue in the aircraft. Airline engineers are currently working to resolve the malfunction, and officials stated that the issue is expected to be fixed soon.
