Keamari Investigation Police Rescue Abducted Woman and Arrest Suspect in Technical Operation

Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW) — The Investigation Police of District Keamari, South Zone, has successfully rescued a 20-year-old woman and apprehended the primary suspect in a high-profile abduction and sexual assault case. SSP Investigation Masroor Ahmed Jatoi confirmed that the victim, Misbah, had gone missing from the Baldia Town area on March 20, 2026. Following the disappearance, an FIR was lodged at the Baldia Town Police Station against unidentified suspects, prompting a specialized technical operation led by Inspector Sarwan Jam Saqi under the supervision of the SSP.

The investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as Shoaib, son of Taj Muhammad, trapped the victim through the social media platform Snapchat. Shoaib, who worked as a driver at a private bungalow, reportedly posed as a wealthy businessman by sharing photos of luxury vehicles and the residence to deceive the victim with promises of a bright future. According to SSP Jatoi, the suspect lured her away under false pretenses and subsequently subjected her to sexual assault. Preliminary medical examinations have confirmed the assault, and the suspect was arrested following the victim’s recovery and identification. Authorities stated that the investigation is ongoing to uncover further details regarding the suspect’s activities.
